3 Things to Carefully Consider After ‘Go Live’ with ServiceNow

Congratulations, ServiceNow has been successfully implemented!  So how do I maintain and expand my ServiceNow footprint?  This is a question we get from a lot of clients and there’s no black/white answer to it. It depends on many variables.

To effectively take ServiceNow to the next level in your organization and maximize its value, consider the following components:

  1. Product Roadmap: What items are on your roadmap? How complex are these items to implement?
  2. Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC): What process do we have in place to maintain and expand ServiceNow capabilities?
  3. Staffing Model: Do we have a team of people with the right skillset to carry out our ServiceNow plans and objectives? What resources do I have or need to support the SDLC and execute the Product Roadmap?

Even if you have a solid understanding of what you’re trying to achieve, you may also have additional complexity that each one of these components can change at any time. It’s important to consider what you need right now, and build a plan with contingencies to help smooth out demand spikes and valleys and deliver high quality solutions.
