BUSINESS CHALLENGE
A global internet Premium Services Infrastructure (PSI) was faced with transitioning from a set of free services enabled by a advertising based revenue model to creating an infrastructure to support fee based services with defined expectations.

To achieve this it was critical for PSI to have a complete understanding of what they were current capabilities of their organization to deliver the new services, the new business need facing, and the gaps. In order to gain executive support, an appropriate strategy and approach to meet the need and the business justification was essential.

COVESTIC'S SOLUTION
Covestic partnered with PSI to provide IT Service Management subject matter experts to develop a roadmap to meet the business need. The Covestic team assessed the current level of organizational IT service management capability and developed a baseline from which to measure improvements. Covestic also helped PSI to understand and define the critical business needs of the organization and developed a actionable roadmap to address these needs through improvements to their people, process, and enabling technologies including service management workflow and enterprise management solutions. This roadmap included a quantified business justification for the PSI executive management team. Covestic helped drive executive support for the roadmap by working closely with key service stakeholders to raise awareness of critical issues, educate them on required improvements and to justify the steps necessary to move forward.
